To update your citizenship for your COL account, kindly print and fill out the attached Account Update Form and FATCA Form (if US person).
Please take note of the following:
- Fill out the form completely and affix a wet ink signature
- For Joint accounts – both signatories should sign regardless of who will update
- Attach clear photocopy of IDs and supporting documents (ex. clear copy of valid passport with your current citizenship with clear photo and signature)

Please be advised that foreigners are restricted in their choices of stocks as not all stocks can be purchased by foreign buyers. Non-resident foreigners are also taxed 25% withholding tax on dividends. Such restrictions will apply upon update. There will be no changes on your existing shares unless you are holding a stock foreigners are restricted from having; you may need to sell the shares prior to update.
The request will be subject to verification and may take at 1-2 weeks to process the update.
