Warrants can also be listed in the stock market and traded like a stock. It also normally follows the price pattern of its underlying shares.

When you subscribe to a warrant you can do 2 things with it:

OPTION 1: Trade it like a stock

You can trade warrants in the market like any common shares. But once you sell your warrants and do not have it during its exercise period then you cannot exercise the warrant.

OPTION 2: Trade it and exercise it

You can trade warrants and at the same time should you still have warrants left during its exercise period. You can opt to exercise it afterwards. Should the exercise price be lower than the underlying share's price during that time, it can be worth exercising it. To exercise it, please see this article on how to exercise, click here

Please make sure to do either Option 1 or Option 2 before the warrant's expiry date. Once the warrant expires, it will be be taken out of the stock market and would have no more value.
