Mutual funds are generally managed by a registered investment company adviser based on the specified investment objective of the fund. Fund managers working as investment advisers have the full discretion and freedom to select the security composition of the fund but within the regulations of the SEC and subject to the limits specified in the fund prospectus.
Aside from Fund Prospectus, each mutual fund has FUND FACT SHEET, it contains key information that investors should know about. You may also find the Top holdings of each mutual fund in most of the FUND FACT SHEET.
Just go to Mutual Fund tab, then click Fund Information and type in the mutual fund code that you want to check.
