Participation in mutual funds is done by buying shares issued by the funds. These funds are purchased through licensed distributors, like COL Financial, and salespersons.

As an investor, you can buy shares of a mutual fund based on its prevailing Net Asset Value per Share (NAVPS). Each share represents a portion of an investor's holdings in the fund. Likewise, redemption is done by selling the shares back to the fund house using the latest NAVPS.

The picture below is where you can find the NAVPS. Log in to your COL account and click MUTUAL FUND > on the COL Fund Source click FUNDS > Performance table.

You can select each type of mutual funds to view their prices/NAVPS.

To start your investment in Mutual Fund, click ORDER > ORDER ENTRY, type in the mutual fund code, and select then type the investment amount, and click PREVIEW ORDER. Make sure to enter your account's password and confirm your order.

(NOTE: If it is your first time to order a Mutual Fund, the system will have to ask you to answer the Client Suitability Assessment Exam before you can proceed in posting your order. Just answer that and go back to ORDER tab).

Once the shares from your first order have been reflected in your COL account, you may then automate your succeeding orders using the EIP facility.

To automate your order, click ORDER > ORDER ENTRY. See the screenshot below. Make sure to enter your account's password and confirm your order.
